If you live in Peterborough, ON, there's a new program called Better Homes Peterborough that can help you lower your energy bills, make your home more comfortable, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This four-year initiative offers low-interest loans, incentives, and personalized support for various home upgrades, such as insulation, windows, doors, heat pumps, air sealing, solar panels, battery storage, high-efficiency water heaters, lighting, EV chargers, and electrical upgrades. You can also use up to 30% of your loan for cosmetic or non-energy-related improvements.

The program is available to homeowners with detached or semi-detached houses, townhouses, or small multi-unit buildings up to three stories.
